Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect only what we need to reply to you and do the work. We don't sell data, we don't run ad trackers, and we never see your card number — Stripe handles payment.
What we collect
- This site (trudesign.dev) is a static page. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad trackers. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
- The site-review form (hello.trudesign.dev) collects what you type in: your name, email, website address, and anything you tell us about your site, plus optional screenshots. We use it only to review your site and reply to you.
- Clients: to do the work, we hold your contact details, invoices, and the credentials you share with us for your site and hosting. Credentials are stored in a password manager, not in email or documents.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we see only what's needed to manage your plan — the charge status, amount, and the name and email on the payment.
What we do with it
- Reply to your enquiry and deliver the services you've asked for.
- Send service emails about your site or plan — renewal notices, "here's what I did" notes, incident reports.
- Nothing else. We don't sell or rent your information, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers needed to run the business: Stripe for payments, our email provider to correspond with you, and the hosting provider your site runs on. Each sees only what it needs. We disclose information beyond that only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept while we're talking and deleted if nothing comes of it. Client records are kept for the life of the engagement plus what tax law requires for invoices. Credentials are deleted when an engagement ends and handover is complete.
Your choices
Email hello@trudesign.dev to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (excepting invoices we're legally required to keep). We reply within one business day.
